Job summary

Thrive Rehab of Pearland is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented receptionist/clerical assistant to support daily operations after hospital stays. You will answer calls, relay messages, greet visitors, and help maintain calendars and office supplies.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, basic First Aid/CPR, and the ability to read, write, and communicate clearly. Wages range from $13.00 to $15.00 per hour, with weekend shifts from 8am to 8pm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent)
• Basic First Aid and CPR certification where required
• Complete Thrive-specified training programs
• Ability to read and understand simple instructions and communicate clearly
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations and follow written/oral instructions

Responsibilities

• Answers incoming telephone calls in a cheerful, marketing-oriented way and directs to appropriate personnel.
• Retrieves messages from voicemail and forwards to appropriate staff.
• Takes and delivers messages or transfers calls to voicemail when needed.
• Answers general questions about the community and provides directions and information.
• Greets onsite visitors and notifies staff of visitor arrival.
• Maintains hospitalized resident lists and updates appointment calendars.
• Orders, receives, and maintains office supplies.
• Performs other clerical duties as assigned.
