Job summary

Arizona Snowbowl is seeking an Overnight Front Desk Attendant to manage the front desk from 10pm to 7am. You will greet guests, check in/out late arrivals and walk-ins, and respond to questions and emergencies while ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.

Ideal candidates have prior guest services or reservations experience and can maintain a high level of professionalism in outdoor, winter conditions. Uniforms are provided and safety policies must be followed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in guest services or reservations or 6 months of prior Arizona Snowbowl experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Present friendly customer service and act as Mountain Host for guests.
• Check-In and out guests between 10pm and 7am; handle late arrivals and walk-ins.
• Respond to guest requests, concerns, or emergencies promptly.
• Replace light bulbs, assist with televisions, relight fireplaces as needed.
• Communicate facilities issues to maintenance and follow up.
• Greet guests and provide directions or information.
• Monitor safety by locking doors after hours and ensuring no hazards with appliances.
• Maintain uniform and professional appearance; follow handbook policies.
• Collect trash and keep public areas clean; shovel snow when required.

Purpose of the position:(FT or PT, Winter / Summer Seasonal Position) An Overnight Front Desk Attendant will work the front desk between the hours of 10pm and 7am. They will be the contact person for the night and answer any questions or concerns that guests may have during their stay. They may also be required to check in people who arrive late or walk-in reservations. Must be a friendly outgoing person with excellent multitasking skills.Essential Functions:Present friendly customer service.Act as “Mountain Host” for all guests, give directions, answer questions, etc.Check-In and out guests between the hours of 10pm and 7amAbility to create new, modify or cancel reservationsRespond to guests request, concerns, or emergenciesRemove debris from driveways and all public areas inside or out.Replace light bulbs, help with televisions issues, relight pilot light for fireplacesCommunicate issues with facilities to come and fixGather and empty trash.Ability to shovel snow and ensure safe grounds for guestsMonitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created.Carry out all policies and procedures of the Arizona Snowbowl as described in Employee Handbook- Uniform, Grooming StandardsReport to work in Uniform “Fit for Duty” in full Uniform-Vest, Nametag, Season Pass, etc.Maintain the highest degree of professionalism and service.Education / Training / License(s) / Certification(s) Requirements:Previous experience in guest services or reservations or 6 months of prior Arizona Snowbowl experience preferredPhysical Requirements:Be able to lift 50lbs.
