Job summary

MGM Resorts International in Las Vegas seeks a Front Desk Representative to create a warm, memorable first impression for guests in a luxury resort. You’ll handle arrivals, departures, reservations, and special requests to ensure a seamless stay.

Join a fast-paced, guest-focused team and help deliver WOW moments while promoting MGM Rewards and upgrades when available. Must be 18+, with HS diploma or GED and cash handling experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have strong customer service skills and interpersonal communication.
• One year of guest-facing customer service experience preferred.
• Six months of cash handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and deliver personalized service per S.H.O.W. basics.
• Manage check-ins/check-outs, walk-ins, and arrivals/departures.
• Offer room upgrades when available and promote MGM Rewards benefits.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping and other departments to meet guest requests.
• Process payments and balance all cash and card transactions per procedures.

THE JOB:

Join the team as a Front Desk Representative, where you’ll create a warm and memorable first impression for guests in a luxury resort environment. In this role, you’ll deliver personalized service while assisting guests with arrivals, departures, reservations, and special requests to ensure a seamless stay.

Working in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment, you’ll anticipate needs, build meaningful connections, and create WOW moments guests will remember long after their experience with us!

THE STARTING PAY RATE:

$19.00 / Per Hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Welcome guests to the property by providing memorable service, anticipating guest needs, and resolving guest concerns in alignment with S.H.O.W. Service Basics
• Manage guest check-ins, check-outs, walk-ins, and early or late arrivals and departures in a seamless and professional manner
• Enhance the guest experience by offering room upgrades when available and promoting MGM Rewards enrollment and benefits
• Partner with Housekeeping and other departments to meet guest expectations and special requests
• Process payments, post charges and credits accurately, handle cash and credit transactions, and balance all cash and cash equivalent transactions according to property procedures

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or GED
• One (1) year of prior relevant Guest Facing Customer Service experience preferred
• Six (6) months of prior relevant cash handling experience preferred
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
• Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidays
