Job summary

River City Casino & Hotel is seeking a Front Desk Clerk for a swing shift. You will check guests in/out, handle payments, and answer inquiries while delivering friendly, efficient service in a fast-paced entertainment environment.

Starting pay is $16.00 per hour. Day 1 medical, dental, & vision benefits are offered, along with additional perks and educational supports. Candidates should be 18+, with a high school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior cash handling is preferred.
• Basic computer and math skills are required and the ability to operate POS systems is strongly preferred.
• Flexibility to varying schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays is strongly preferred.
• Ability to maintain a high level of energy, confidence, and professionalism is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently and effectively check guests in and out, provide information about property events, understand guest requests and respond to guest needs.
• Process guest payments and accounts upon checkout in an efficient, timely, and accurate manner aligned with internal controls.
• Answer internal and external calls in order to answer questions, direct calls or provide general information.
• Operate AS/400 hotel computer system, credit card machine and other office equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

As a Front Desk Clerk, you will:

Pay: $16.00 | Shift: Swing

• Answer internal and external calls in order to answer questions, direct calls or provide general information.
• Operate AS/400 hotel computer system, credit card machine and other office equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
• This position will require you to be standing during the duration of your shift. You will also be required to help assist with guests and their check-in needs.
