Job summary

Mountain View Pain Center in Denver is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to create a welcoming, organized patient experience and support clinic operations.

You will manage patient flow, scheduling, insurance information, and communications across departments, serving as a key contact for patients in person and over the phone.

This full-time, on-site role requires a high school diploma and healthcare front-desk experience; bilingual Spanish/English is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of medical receptionist experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Minimum 1 year of medical scheduling experience.
• Strong customer service skills with a patient-first mindset.
• Proficient computer and typing skills.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
• Access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and visitors with professionalism, warmth, and compassion
• Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments using clinic software
• Answer incoming calls with accurate, timely information
• Make outbound calls to reschedule and meet call targets
• Coordinate appointment transitions for patients with multiple same-day visits
• Facilitate Uber transport for PI patients when needed
• Collect and verify insurance information and process payments
• Scan and maintain patient documentation
• Communicate with clinical and administrative teams promptly
• Notify staff of arrivals and support patient flow

Position Summary:

The Front Desk Receptionist is the first impression of Mountain View Pain Center and plays a critical role in creating a welcoming, organized, and efficient patient experience. This role supports clinic operations by managing patient flow, scheduling appointments, coordinating care, and ensuring clear communication across departments.

You’ll serve as a key point of contact for patients—both in person and over the phone—while maintaining accurate records, handling insurance information, and supporting smooth daily clinic operations.

What You’ll Do:

• Welcome patients and visitors with professionalism, warmth, and compassion
• Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments using clinic software systems
• Answer incoming calls and provide accurate, timely information to patients and callers
• Make outbound calls to reschedule appointments and meet minimum call attempt expectations
• Coordinate appointment transitions for patients with multiple same-day visits
• Facilitate Uber transportation for Personal Injury (PI) patients when needed
• Collect and verify insurance information and process payments as required
• Scan, upload, and maintain accurate patient documentation
• Communicate promptly and effectively with clinical and administrative teams
• Notify medical staff of patient arrivals and support patient flow throughout the clinic
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front reception area
• Support general administrative tasks as assigned

Qualifications Minimum Experience & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, some college preferred
• Minimum 1 year experience as a medical receptionist in a fast paced environment
• Minimum 1 year experience with medical scheduling

Compensation & Schedule

Pay Range: $19.29– $20.50 per hour

Job Type: Full-time

Work Location: Central Denver Clinic (Lowry) — 100% onsite/in-person

Hours:

• Monday–Thursday: 7:45 AM –12:00 PM; 1:00 PM–5:00PM
• Friday: 7:45AM–1:00 PM
