The Club at Crested Butte in Crested Butte, CO is looking for a Front Desk Attendant with a customer-first attitude. The role involves guest service, reservations, and POS handling, with opportunities to support staff across shop operations and events. Beginners welcome; training provided.

Flexibility to work weekends and holidays is preferred. The position offers a pay range of $19.00–$23.00 per hour, dependent on experience, with standard retail and hospitality benefits offered by the club.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to read and speak English to perform duties.
  • Retail sales experience preferred.
  • Computer proficiency including POS and MS Office.

Responsibilities

  • Performs opening and closing procedures as determined by management.
  • Responsible for accountability of POS transactions made.
  • Collects applicable fees from members/guests as they arrive.
  • Makes court, clinic, lesson and special event reservations, in person or by phone.
  • Assists Membership Manager with member outreach and delivering high-standard member experience.
  • Assists with monthly inventories if applicable.
  • May work with coaches to facilitate start and play times.
  • Maintains safe work practices and regular attendance.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Education and ExperienceRequirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and speak English may berequiredin order toperform the duties of the job (e.g.the associates may be requiredto communicate with English speaking.customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).
  • Retail sales experience is preferred.
  • Computerproficiencyincluding but notlimitedPOS, Microsoft Office applications, socialmediaand other programs related

Working Conditions

  • Frequently stands and uses hands, reaches with hands and arms,talksor hears.
  • Regularly walks, sits, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls or crouches.
  • Regularly lifts up to 10 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds.
  • Occasionally works in outdoor weather conditions.
