You'll manage check-in/check-out, verify demographics, obtain insurance authorizations, handle medical record requests, and assist with billing tasks to ensure smooth clinic operations and patient care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• Medical office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, professional first impression by greeting patients and visitors with genuine care, while efficiently managing check-in/check-out processes and gathering necessary documentation
• Demonstrate accuracy by verifying and entering demographic information, ensuring all patient records are complete and current
• Navigate the authorization process by obtaining and verifying insurance authorizations and precertifications, while managing medical record release requests and scheduling/confirming appointments
• Support billing operations by accurately entering, reviewing, and submitting daily charges for patient procedures and services, collecting co-payments, and reconciling reports and deposits with precision
• Contribute to clinic efficiency by providing comprehensive administrative and clerical support to your assigned area, enabling clinical staff to focus on patient care
