Job summary

The Forum, a nonprofit Christian ministry, is seeking a friendly Front Desk Agent to greet guests, handle requests, and process transactions at the reception.

Shift options are 3pm–11pm and 11pm–7am; weekdays, weekends, and holidays are mandatory. Responsibilities include room setup/breakdown, basic computer use, and cash handling while maintaining professionalism. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and previous front desk or hotel experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate a computer and calculator.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and coworkers.

Holidays are Mandatory.The Forum is a non-profit, Christian-based organization that provides ministry lodging, conferencing, and office space.Must be able to do room set up and breakdown.Front Desk Agent:Responsible for representing the ministry with a positive and professional attitude.Responsible for taking care of guest requests at the front desk/reception.High school diploma or general education degree (GED)Previous front office or hotel experience preferred.Ability to work with computers.Ability to perform accurate functions using a calculator.Ability to communicate, verbally, and in writing, effectively with guests and co-workers; respond to guest requests.The ability to understand the tasks performed by a telephone operator, a reservation agent, a concierge, and a housekeeper.Ability to handle cash and credit transactions.Maintains professionalism at all times, demonstrating courtesy and respect to guests and co-workers.Ability to multi-task and handle stress in busy seasons.
