Coastal Health is currently seeking a motivated, career-oriented Front Office Check-Out Representative to join our growing team! This individual will play a vital role in delivering outstanding patient service by greeting and assisting patients, scheduling appointments, collecting payments, and maintaining accurate records and accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance patient satisfaction by efficiently scheduling appointments in person and over the phone
- Keep appointments running smoothly by notifying providers of arrivals and delays, and monitoring schedules
- Provide a welcoming and calming presence to patients, addressing their concerns and maintaining a clean reception area
- Ensure treatment information is readily available by accurately filing and retrieving patient records
- Maintain accurate patient accounts by recording and updating personal and financial information
- Support revenue cycle efforts by recording, collecting, and reconciling patient balances and managing patient credit as needed
- Manage office inventory and supplies by monitoring stock levels and placing orders as necessary
- Respond to patient emergencies or distress in a calm, effective manner
- Uphold patient confidentiality by securely handling personal and financial information
- Support office operations by adhering to internal policies and procedures and suggesting improvements
- Foster a collaborative environment by contributing to team success and helping wherever needed
- Greet all patients and visitors warmly—both in-person and over the phone—and respond to inquiries or direct them appropriately
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical or healthcare setting (Required)
- Strong multitasking and time management skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Professional demeanor and attention to detail
- Proficiency in scheduling, word processing, and general office tasks
- Team-oriented with a focus on quality and professionalism

Qualifications: Minimum 1-3 years experience in the medical field preferred.
