About the Front Desk Associate Role

As a Front Desk Associate, you will be responsible for providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests while ensuring an exceptional “Judgement Free” member experience.

Daily responsibilities include:

• Greeting members/guests and assisting with questions or concerns during check-in.
• Promoting our Judgement Free Zone by connecting with members and supporting their fitness journeys.
• Resolving member concerns and escalating to a Manager as needed.
• Answering phones and assisting callers.
• Performing membership-related functions such as sign-ups, updates, cancellations, and billing.
• Conducting tours and assessing prospective members’ needs.
• Executing retail transactions and driving sales.
• Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of equipment and amenities.
• Addressing safety, cleanliness, and maintenance issues promptly.

Qualifications

• 6-12 months in customer service preferred.
• Must be 18 or older.
• Willing to become CPR/AED Certified (training provided).
• Basic computer skills.

Physical Demands

• Standing and moving throughout the club.
• Communicating in person or on the phone.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Handling chemicals and cleaning duties.
• Moving and adjusting positions as needed.
