The Front Desk Associate is a highly friendly and courteous individual who consistently delivers first-rate service and fosters positive customer satisfaction and loyalty while promoting Ignite Fitness Holdings-Planet Fitness Mission, Vision, and Values. The Front Desk Associate must be adept at balancing multiple tasks with a friendly, courteous demeanor.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  1. Welcome and exit members in a confident, professional, and friendly manner with hellos and goodbyes.
  2. Anticipate members' needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all members.
  3. Provide gracious and efficient telephone service. Calls should be answered promptly and knowledgeably, always ensuring complete and accurate information.
  4. Utilize strong communication and problem-solving skills to effectively resolve customer concerns, ensuring a pleasant experience.
  5. Maintain cleanliness of the club for up to 50% of the shift.
  6. Deliver prompt, efficient customer service while maintaining high accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Accept payments from customers, give change and receipts.
  8. Drive revenue by communicating and demonstrating benefits of products and promotions to customers.
  9. Answer customer questions and provide information regarding business procedures and policies in a customer-friendly manner.
Minimum Skills
  1. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
  2. Strong work ethic with decision-making and problem resolution skills.
  3. Self-starter who takes initiative with minimal supervision.
  4. Flexible working schedule.
  5. Superior customer service skills, preferably in the fitness industry.
  6. Energetic and enthusiastic attitude.
  7. Physical ability to talk, hear, sit, stand, handle objects, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly, and up to 75 pounds occasionally.
Minimum Qualifications
  1. 18 years or older.
  2. High School Diploma or equivalent.
  3. Six months of face-to-face customer service experience in retail or one year of fitness experience preferred.
Hours

Initial training hours may vary. Discuss your availability with the Hiring Manager or note it on your application. Flexibility for weekday and/or weekend hours based on club needs. Open or flexible availability is a plus.

  • Monday - Friday: 4:30am - 9:00am
  • Saturday & Sunday: Off
