Planet Fitness, a private equity-backed fitness retailer, is seeking candidates for the role of Front Desk Associates. The Front Desk Associate is a friendly and courteous individual who consistently delivers first-rate service, fostering positive customer satisfaction and loyalty while promoting Ignite Fitness Holdings-Planet Fitness Mission, Vision, and Values. The role requires balancing multiple tasks with a friendly, courteous demeanor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Welcome and exit members in a confident, professional, and friendly manner with hellos and goodbyes.
  2. Anticipate members' needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all members.
  3. Provide gracious and efficient telephone service, answering calls promptly and knowledgeably, ensuring complete and accurate information.
  4. Utilize strong communication and problem-solving skills to effectively resolve customer concerns, ensuring a pleasant experience.
  5. Maintain the cleanliness of the club for up to 50% of the shift.
  6. Deliver prompt, efficient customer service while maintaining high accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Accept payments from customers, give change and receipts.
  8. Drive revenue by communicating and demonstrating benefits of products and promotions to customers.
  9. Answer customers' questions and provide information regarding business procedures and policies in a customer-friendly manner.
Minimum Skills
  1. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
  2. Strong work ethic with decision-making and problem resolution skills.
  3. Self-starter who takes initiative with minimal supervision.
  4. Flexible working schedule.
  5. Superior customer service skills, preferably in the fitness industry.
  6. Hardworking, enthusiastic, and energetic.
  7. Physical ability to talk, hear, sit, stand, handle objects, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly, and up to 75 pounds occasionally.
Minimum Qualifications
  1. 18 years or older.
  2. High School Diploma or equivalent.
  3. Six months of face-to-face customer service experience in retail or one year of fitness experience preferred.
Hours

Initial training hours may vary. Discuss availability with the Hiring Manager or note it on your application. Hours include weekdays and/or weekends, with open or flexible availability preferred.
