Price-Denton Endodontics in Decatur, Alabama is seeking an experience part-time Front Desk Assistant to join our team and assist us in delivering exceptional care to our patients. Our core belief is putting the patient’s needs first, and it underlies every aspect of our practice.

The part-time schedule may vary depending on the candidate, but working 2 days a week is expected.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Answer patient and referral phone calls promptly.
  • Schedule procedures for clinical visits.
  • Assist with patient paperwork and medical history.
  • Verify patient information and insurance coverage.
  • Collect and process payments.
  • Perform office administrative tasks that require the use of a computer and a dental software system.
  • Enjoy interacting with patients and working in a team environment.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of customer focused experience.
  • 1+ years of Dental experience preferred, but not required.
  • 1+ years of medical billing and insurance experience preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Proficient in dental software or other electronic medical record systems.
  • The ability to stay organized and detail oriented while working in a fast-paced environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
