Job summary

The Gunter Hotel San Antonio is seeking a Front Desk Assistant Manager OEM to support the Front Desk Manager in delivering warm, efficient guest service and maintaining smooth front office operations. You’ll help drive room revenue, boost occupancy, and guide a front desk team to high standards.

The role requires a 2-year college degree with experience or a 4-year degree with limited experience, plus 3–5 years in hotels with supervisory exposure.

Qualifications

• 2-year college degree with 3+ years of related experience, or a 4-year college degree with at least 1 year of related experience.
• 3-5 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field, preferably with supervisory experience.
• Effective in handling stressful, high-pressure situations while maintaining composure and objectivity.
• Certification requirements may include Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR, and First Aid.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, efficient service and act as the friendly face for guests and staff.
• Lead and coach front desk team to maintain high standards and smooth operations.
• Resolve guest concerns quickly and calmly to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Manage room revenue and front desk systems with strong organizational and tech skills.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
