JOB SUMMARY: The Front Desk Assistant provides vital personal contact and individualized service to the TMORA visitor at the Museum’s admissions desk.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Operate the Museum’s front desk and provide friendly and knowledgeable customer service experiences to all Museum visitors
· Provide general information about the Museum’s exhibitions and programming
· Create meaningful connections and fulfilling experiences for guests
· Facilitate admission and membership sales through the Museum’s POS system
Schedule
Regular schedule of Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday, 9:45 a.m. – 5:15 p.m. Potential for evening hours.
Physical Qualifications:
· Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and kneel
· Work may require long periods of sustained standing
· Speaking/Hearing: Clear diction is required for activities which demand detailed or important instructions spoken to others accurately, clearly, or quickly. Adequate hearing is necessary for effective communication with visitors.
