Job summary

PENN Entertainment is hiring for a spa/retail associate at Ameristar Casino Resort Spa in Colorado. You will greet guests, process payments, maintain spa cleanliness, stock merchandise, and schedule treatments. The role requires customer-service focus, basic computer skills, and physical stamina to lift items and assist guests.

The position is full-time, on-site, with benefits starting Day 1 and opportunities for career growth within the organization.

Qualifications

• 1 year spa or retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and offer assistance and/or instruction in the use of the Spa.
• Collect fees and accurately handle all cash, checks, credit card, gift certificates and comp transactions.
• Maintain on a daily basis a high level of cleanliness in the spa facilities.
• Unpack, stock and price all merchandise in the retail area as needed with the ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
• Schedules spa and salon treatments.
• Responsible for knowing all new policies and procedures in the Spa.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures for the Spa.
• All other duties assigned and required to help enhance the spa.

Requirements

• One (1) year of spa or retail experience.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and consulting skills.
• Superior customer service skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Fully competent in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to review and comprehend all necessary documentation.
• Ability to inspect and maintain areas for which responsible.
• Ability to use the equipment associated with the position to include spa facilities and cash register.
• Ability to move around work area effectively and efficiently.
• This position is physical in nature and requires the ability to maneuver to assist guests in the proper use of equipment and to perform other job duties.
• Ability to lift up to sixty pounds and push and pull up to one hundred pounds of towels, equipment, and supplies.
• This position operates in a working environment that is subject to varying levels of cold, heat, wet/humid conditions, crowds, and noise.
• Incumbents are at times subject to hazards such as slippery conditions; proper safety precautions are taken.
• Ability to sustain a high level of confidentiality, professionalism, and integrity.
• Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with issues.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with Team Members at all levels of the organization.
