Job Description
Position Summary

The Front Desk Agent welcomes and registers guests, presents statements, and collects payments for departing guests. They communicate with housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services to fulfill guest requests. The ideal candidate is attentive, proactive, and dedicated to enhancing the overall guest experience. This position reports to the Front Desk Manager.

Essential Job Functions/Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome guests upon arrival and assign rooms
  • Provide a summary of hotel amenities to guests
  • Coordinate with other departments for guest needs
  • Recommend restaurants and activities based on guest interests
  • Maintain cash bank and settle daily
  • Accept reservations, changes, and cancellations
  • Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure room readiness
  • Comply with hotel policies and Aspen One standards
  • Assist in emergency and security procedures
  • Complete delegated tasks and support other departments as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education & Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • One year of customer or guest service experience preferred
  • Previous front desk experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Knowledge of local activities and events
  • Basic industry terminology
  • Understanding of company policies
  • Strong problem-solving skills

Work Environment & Physical Demands
