The Nationwide Hotel and Conference Center located in Lewis Center is searching for a Front Desk Agent to join our team!

About Us: Nationwide Hotel and Conference Center caters to large groups for weddings, training, and corporate events. Each day brings new experiences! We seek positive, outgoing, guest-focused individuals who enjoy taking care of our guests. Your responsibilities will include welcoming guests, managing billing, providing directions, recommending local dining and activities, making reservations, responding to emails, and coordinating with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Job Summary:

Front Desk Agents handle guest check-ins and check-outs, provide information about amenities and services, and take reservations.

Essential Functions:

  1. Deliver outstanding customer service with a positive attitude.
  2. Check guests in and out efficiently using our computer systems.
  3. Respond to guest requests, answer phones, and make reservations.
  4. Follow proper cash handling procedures.
  5. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
  6. Communicate effectively with guests and team members.
  7. Perform other duties as assigned to ensure departmental efficiency.

Physical Requirements:

  • Standing for the duration of the shift.
  • Occasional assistance with luggage up to 20 lbs.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Microsoft Office. Maestro PMS preferred but not required.
