Guest Service Representatives are often the first in-person contact for hotel guests and support their needs throughout the hospitality experience. Serving as a brand liaison, Guest Service Representatives are engaging, attentive, service-oriented, and creative problem solvers. The primary responsibility is to deliver and exceed guest expectations, execute brand service standards, resolve challenges, and maintain excellent communication with guests, peers, and supervisors.

What you'll be doing...
  • Welcome arriving guests and complete the check-in process, ensuring special requests are fulfilled and information is accurate.
  • Build rapport with guests through purposeful communication to uncover expectations and needs.
  • Engage with guests via phone or electronic communication in line with hotel standards to ensure satisfaction.
  • Promote loyalty programs, encourage participation, and offer upgrades when appropriate.
  • Coordinate with hotel departments to meet guest expectations and resolve issues promptly.
  • Listen and empathize with guests, solicit feedback, and act on concerns.
  • Maintain professionalism consistent with brand and company standards.
  • Know and communicate emergency procedures; assist guests during emergencies.
  • Use communication logs and other means to share pertinent information with colleagues and supervisors.
  • If applicable, manage house bank transactions accurately.
Requirements...
Experience & Education:
  • At least 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in hotels or related industries
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
Communication:
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Ability to speak, read, and write in the primary language used in the workplace
Physical:
  • Stand and walk frequently; work at a desk/computer for 8+ hours daily
  • Lift and maneuver up to 30 pounds occasionally
