Baymont By Wyndham /Penny’s Diner of Glenwood, MN. is seeking a Front Desk Agent to welcome guests, handle check-ins/outs, manage reservations, and provide local recommendations. The role emphasizes professional guest service and accurate record-keeping.

Ideal candidates will have experience with an IHG branded hotel, strong time management, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and reservations systems. A High School diploma is required and a stable work history is expected.

• Greet guests and manage check-ins and check-outs

Requirements:

• Experience with an IHG branded hotel highly desired
• Be able to manage time effectively, complete required tasks on time
• Knowledge of and ability to operate computer equipment and the reservations system.

Education & Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Stable work history required
• Strong understand of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Need to be a team player – if you like to work on an island by yourself, this won’t be a good fit for you!
• Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
• Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
• Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary
• Must be effective at listening to, understanding, clarifying and resolving the concerns and issues raised by guests
