Job description

Position: Front Office Agent

Location: La Quinta Colorado Springs - South/Airport, 2750 Geyser Drive, Colorado Springs, CO 80906

Compensation: $16.35 per hour

Overview: The Front Office Agent is responsible for providing attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests during check-in, throughout their stay, and at checkout, while maximizing room revenue and occupancy.

Responsibilities:
  1. Answer guest inquiries regarding services and amenities.
  2. Follow cash handling and credit policies.
  3. Be familiar with rates, packages, and promotions.
  4. Manage reservations and rate-quoting scenarios.
  5. Handle check-ins and checkouts efficiently and courteously.
  6. Operate the front desk computer system proficiently.
  7. Complete shift-related reports and paperwork accurately.
  8. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  9. Assist guests with safe deposit boxes and other needs.
Qualifications:
  1. High School diploma or equivalent; college coursework helpful.
  2. Experience in hospitality preferred.
  3. Computer proficiency required.
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  5. Customer service experience preferred.
  6. Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  7. Maintain professional appearance and demeanor.
  8. Ability to handle problems proactively and discreetly.
  9. Availability to work varied shifts as needed.
