-Greet and assist walk-in customers (contractors, homeowners, etc.)

-Answer phone inquiries about pricing, availability, and delivery options

-Provide expert advice on building materials, hardware, and tools

-Generate quotes and invoices using a point-of-sale (POS)

-Understand common lumber types, grades, and uses (e.g., pressure-treated vs. untreated)

-Be familiar with related products like plywood, fasteners, insulation, etc.

-we will provide hands on training.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Basic math and computer skills

• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

• Knowledge of construction or building materials is a big plus

• Physical ability to occasionally assist with light lifting or product handling
