Function:

Operates a customer service window to provide quality service on various transactions and offers technical direction and training to other customer service representatives.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Proves competencies in bank operations by:
    1. Completing the New to S&T RSS Job Family Plan as scheduled by Retail Training in conjunction with Retail Operations.
    2. Maintaining a balancing rate of 85% in accordance with Retail Policies and Procedures manual.
  2. Demonstrates knowledge of Consumer Bank Customer Service Expectations and offers exceptional service as outlined by Branch Management.
  3. Utilizes computer systems and product knowledge to operate the customer service window efficiently and accurately, providing services such as:
    • Verifying customer identities and transaction authenticity to prevent fraud.
    • Cashing checks or coupons, processing deposits and withdrawals.
    • Providing additional services like money orders, loan payments, and night deposits.
    • Balancing cash, ATM, and vault daily, and ensuring satisfactory audits.
  4. Supports staff and maintains positive customer relationships, contributing to the Branch Sales/Service Plan.
  5. Promotes bank services, answers banking questions, and refers customers to other departments for specialized services.
  6. Performs support duties such as preparing reports, reconciliations, and logs, ensuring compliance across business lines.
  7. Maintains good relationships with other departments and demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, working independently and as part of a team.
  8. Attends and completes training on systems, regulations, and products as needed.
  9. Performs additional duties as required.
Physical Demands:
