Job summary

Citizens in Las Vegas is seeking a friendly Counter Team Member to greet guests, take and expedite orders, and process payments with a focus on hospitality and revenue. You’ll present menus, guide purchases, and assist with food preparation as needed.

Responsibilities include taking orders, entering them into the POS, handling cash and card transactions, and ensuring accurate packaging and pickup procedures. A welcoming attitude and team spirit are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in food, beverage or customer service preferred.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet and serve guests in a friendly manner.
• Provide guests with a hospitality driven experience.
• Take and enter orders into the point-of-sale system and collect payments.
• Provide recommendations to guests with strong menu knowledge.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately, using cash registers.
• Issue receipts and explain pickup procedures.
• Verify packaging of orders, including menu items and collateral.
• Follow all food safety and health department regulations.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Support management in maintaining adequate inventory.
• Be knowledgeable about Citizens directions, promotions, and specials.
• Be flexible and willing to assist with other departments’ duties as needed.
