Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Medical Assistant diploma or certificate from an accredited facility.
• Excellent patient care, office teamwork, detail and accuracy required.
• Flexible, dependable, multitask in a fast-paced medical office.
• Bilingual in Spanish (Desirable).
• Phlebotomy knowledge and IV experience (Desirable).
• General clerical knowledge (Desirable).

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and register according to established protocols.
• Assist patients to complete forms and documentation including medical insurance.
• Ensure patient information is accurate including billing information.
• Answer incoming calls and deal with inquiries.
• Schedule patient appointments; collect co-pays and payments.
• Obtain external medical reports as required by medical professionals.
• Assist with charting and recording infusion vitals/administration.
• Maintain sterile environment and safe drug inventory/medical supplies.
• Safeguard patient privacy and confidentiality.
