Elior School Dining seeks an experienced Chef Manager to lead kitchen operations at Strive Charter School in Bronx, NY. This full-time, onsite role focuses on delivering delicious, healthy meals while overseeing staff and menu planning.

You will manage scheduling, staff training, and supplier relationships, ensuring high-quality service across all meals and events. Competitive compensation up to $85,000 with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• At least one year of prior experience working in a kitchen focused on cooking from scratch.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage your own schedule and schedules of others.
• Nice-to-haves: prior management experience in a culinary environment.
• Nice-to-haves: ServSafe and/or HACCP certification

Responsibilities

• Addressing customer service needs.
• Helping to hire and train new staff, and attending training sessions and meetings when required.
