Legacy Professionals LLP, a Chicagoland CPA firm, seeks a Compliance Auditor to perform fringe benefit fund audits and assist experienced auditors. You will read collective bargaining agreements, prepare audit files, and participate in fieldwork across client locations. Some travel is required; CPA is not required.

• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field preferred; Accounting (Non-CPA path) or Finance acceptable.
• Strong analytical, research and technical skills required.
• Microsoft Excel proficiency and solid computer skills a must.
• Teamwork and communications skills essential; detail oriented.”

Responsibilities

• Read collective bargaining agreements and determine required contributions.
• Prepare audit files and set appointments; assist fieldwork.
• Perform fieldwork for compliance audit engagements.
• Record payroll taxes and classify employees; review bank records and accounts payable.
