Job summary

Job Juncture is seeking an Audit Supervisor in the Northbrook, IL area for a hybrid Chicago North Suburbs role focusing on employee benefit plan audits and privately held clients. You will lead engagements from planning through completion, working directly with clients and collaborating with Managers and Partners to deliver high-quality service.

The position offers hybrid work, exposure to diverse industries, and opportunities for advancement within a respected public accounting firm.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of public accounting experience in audit and accounting.
• CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead employee benefit plan audits and other assurance engagements from planning through completion.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop staff accountants.
• Develop engagement work plans, budgets, schedules, and staffing requirements.
• Monitor engagement progress and communicate with Managers and Partners.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients.
• Review and/or prepare financial statements, footnotes, workpapers, and tax returns.
• Manage engagement economics, including budgeting and billing.
• Prepare Form 990 and business tax returns.
