Job summary

Mesquite Entertainment in Mesquite, NV is seeking a friendly and professional Host/Hostess to welcome and seat guests, rotating seating fairly across stations to ensure smooth service. The starting rate is $13.75 per hour.

You will monitor table availability, assist service staff, greet guests, answer phones, and help maintain a clean, organized dining area. A S. Nevada Health District Food Handler Card is preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Must be customer service and team oriented.
• Flexible and adaptable in a busy restaurant.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Determine guest needs and seat them accordingly with rotation requirements.
• Monitor table availability and arrange tables and chairs as necessary.
• Assist wait staff and bussers in duties like refilling drinks and pre-busing.
• Answer phones in a professional and courteous manner.
