Job summary

Sedgebrook in Lincolnshire, IL is seeking a friendly Server to join our dining team. No formal serving experience is required; we'll train the right person.

This role supports our residents with warm, attentive service during lunch and dinner shifts in a senior living setting. You will work Monday through Friday with two shift options, 37.5 hours per week, and benefit from comprehensive health coverage, paid time off, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Friendly, customer-service-oriented attitude.
• Interest in hospitality and working with older adults.
• Willingness to learn – serving experience is a plus but not required.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to understand instructions in English and communicate effectively.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming dining experience for residents and guests.
• Provide courteous, attentive table service.
• Take orders, deliver meals, and respond to resident requests with care.
• Answer menu questions confidently (training provided).
• Set tables and maintain clean workstations.
• Follow food quality, sanitation, and cleanliness standards.
