Sedgebrook is seeking a friendly Server to join the dining team in Lincolnshire, IL. No formal serving experience needed; training provided. This role offers a stable schedule, with Monday–Friday shifts and pay between $16.00 and $18.00 per hour based on experience.

As a full-time, non-exempt hourly position, you will help create a warm dining environment and support residents with attentive service, with benefits and perks included for eligible staff.

Sedgebrook is seeking a friendly, hospitality-focused Server to join our dining team. No formal serving experience is required – we're happy to train the right person. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in providing warm, attentive service, and wants to make a meaningful difference in the daily lives of our residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, positive dining experience for residents and guests.
• Provide gracious, courteous, and attentive table service.
• Take orders, deliver meals, and respond to resident requests with care.
• Answer menu-related questions confidently (training provided).
• Set tables and maintain workstations in an organized, clean manner.
• Follow food quality, sanitation, and cleanliness standards at all times.

What We're Looking For

• A friendly, customer-service-oriented attitude.
• Interest in hospitality, service, and working with older adults.
• Willingness to learn – serving experience is preferred but not required.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively.
• Experience working with seniors is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
