Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent and 1–2 years of cashiering experience.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with a positive attitude and ability to interact with customers.
• Operate front end equipment: register, calculator, scanner.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication; able to take direction and work in a team.
• Able to multitask, prioritize and stay organized.
• Must lift/carry up to 30 lbs. for up to 50 hours and move carts up to 35 lbs.
• Solid attention to detail and proficient cash handling and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Process each customer’s order quickly, accurately, and efficiently while ensuring satisfaction.
• Handle cash, credit/debit payments, and change, and assist with product information.
• Resolve customer questions or complaints and maintain a friendly checkout area.
• Stock shelves, face aisles, and keep front-end areas clean and organized.
• Provide directions to products, know weekly ad items, and support store events.
