Responsibilities

• Greet, engage and assist customers at the check lane
• Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently
• Understand the POS system and handle cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, and loyalty offers per policy
• Adhere to cash handling limits and loss prevention policies
• Follow guidelines for restricted sale items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs)
• Report pricing discrepancies and stay current with ads
• Maintain food safety regulations and practice safe operation of equipment
• Support customers and minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults as needed
