Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Milford, CT is seeking a motivated Team Member to support fresh department operations and provide outstanding customer service. You will maintain clean, well-stocked displays, assist with sampling programs, and ensure accurate signage and pricing.

The role requires physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, a flexible schedule including nights/weekends/holidays, and a strong work ethic in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.

Responsibilities

• Ensures fresh and appealing display, clean and well-stocked shelves, rotates stock and removes out-of-date products.
• Maintains signage and pricing accuracy.
• Maintains back stock in good order.
• Keeps a safe, clean, and organized work/shopping environment.
• Assists with sampling program and keeps sample areas full and appealing.
• Cleans cases, glass, signs, uprights, coolers, floors, and drains as required.
• Assists with inventory checks.
• Arrives on time, well-groomed, and ready to work; works scheduled shifts and attends trainings.
• Provides excellent customer service, addresses customer needs, and demonstrates suggestive selling; answers phones promptly and courteously.
• Maximizes sales potential through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising.
• Follows procedures including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety of the environment and equipment.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures pricing is accurate.
• Reports safety hazards and violations immediately.
• Performs other duties as assigned by store/regional/national leadership.
