Job summary

Hy-Vee is seeking a Seafood Service Clerk in the Seafood Department. You will provide prompt, friendly customer service, wrap and weigh seafood, stock cases, and ensure freshness while following sanitation guidelines.

This role reports to the Seafood Department leadership and supports a team in a fast-paced grocery environment. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, food safety training, and at least six months of related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service by treating customers as the most important people in the store.
• Smiles and greets customers, learns and uses names when possible.
• Wraps, weighs, and labels products in the seafood department.
• Maintains sanitation; keeps work area clean and neat and stocks cases as needed.
