Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a Team Member to support the seafood department with counter service, stocking and sanitation, while delivering courteous and efficient service to customers and teammates.

Responsibilities include keeping displays fresh, stocking and cleaning, assisting with sampling, ensuring signage and pricing accuracy, and following health, safety and company procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide friendly, courteous service.
• Ability to learn basic product knowledge for seafood department.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to follow directions and procedures; effective time management.

Responsibilities

• Maintain fresh, appealing seafood displays and rotate stock.
• Stock and rotate products; keep cases and shelves clean and organized.
• Assist customers, answer questions, and practice suggestive selling where appropriate.
• Follow health, safety and sanitation procedures and document signage/pricing accuracy.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
