Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Produce Clerk to maintain farm-fresh produce and deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced store setting. You will stock, merchandise, and ensure pricing accuracy while engaging customers with friendly service.

The role requires physical tasks, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and standing for long periods. This position is full-time and includes benefits and growth opportunities within Sprouts.

Qualifications

• Be at least 16 years of age.
• Be dependable and reliable with ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Have mutual respect for others and uphold Sprouts culture of diversity, equity and inclusion.
• Have a positive attitude and ability to interact with customers.
• Good communication skills; ability to take direction and work in a team.
• Able to perform repetitious tasks, multi-task, prioritize and stay organized.
• Standing, walking, bending, climbing; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; operate a cart up to 35 lbs.
• Walk up to 5 miles in an 8 hour shift.
• Follow all safety, health, OSHA and Weights and Measures regulations.

Responsibilities

• Stock the Produce department and ensure pricing accuracy.
• Maintain high product knowledge and fresh, high quality offerings.
• Provide friendly customer service and answer questions.
• Rotate inventory and manage proper merchandising and freshness.
• Adhere to department schematics and proper tag placement.
