Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. is seeking a Produce Associate to support the daily operation of the produce department. You will sort, stock, rotate, and display fresh fruits and vegetables while delivering friendly member service.

You will follow club policies, maintain safety standards, and help keep signage and displays accurate. The role requires 18+ and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds; training and weekly pay are provided.

Qualifications

• Work experience in a produce department preferred.
• Knowledge of fruit and vegetables preferred, including seasonal items.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance to Members in the produce department.
• Inspects, rotates, and stores produce upon delivery.
• Rotates produce on the sales floor to ensure optimal freshness and variety.
• Maintains the produce reserve stock area.
• Follows established guidelines when disposing of damaged, spoiled, and/or expired products.
• Cleans and sanitizes all produce equipment and areas, including the produce cooler and refrigerated display cases.
• Generates signage for produce goods and performs price check functions when necessary.
