Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a Produce Associate to sort, display, replenish, and rotate fresh fruits and vegetables in the Produce department. You will help Members with product knowledge and ensure the department meets quality standards, while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities include stocking, rotating stock, pricing signage, and supporting inventory in collaboration with the Fresh Manager.

Qualifications

• Produce department experience preferred.
• Knowledge of fruit and vegetables, including seasonal items.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance to Members in the produce department, answers questions and helps locate products.
• Inspects, rotates and stores produce to maintain freshness and quality.
• Rotates produce on the sales floor and ensures displays are neat and fully stocked.
• Maintains reserve stock areas and rotates back stock items daily.
• Cleans and sanitizes produce equipment, fixtures, and display areas.
• Generates signage and ensures items are correctly priced and labeled.
• Performs other duties as assigned and maintains club policies.
