Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a Produce Clerk to sort, display, remove, and replenish fresh fruits and vegetables in the produce department. You will help Members with product knowledge and ensure all produce meets quality standards within a fast-paced club environment.

Responsibilities include inspecting deliveries, rotating stock, keeping displays tidy, and supporting inventory and pricing tasks while adhering to club policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Work experience in produce department preferred.
• Knowledge of fruit and vegetables preferred, including seasonal items.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance to Members in the produce department.
• Inspects, rotates, and stores produce upon delivery.
• Rotates produce on the sales floor to ensure freshness and variety.
• Keeps the produce displays neat and clean.
• Maintains the produce reserve stock area and back stock organization.
• Follows guidelines for handling damaged, spoiled, or expired products.
