Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. is hiring for a Produce Associate in our produce department. You will sort, display, rotate and replenish fresh fruits and vegetables, while helping members with product knowledge and service.

Responsibilities include inspecting incoming produce, maintaining fresh displays, preserving the department’s cleanliness, and supporting the Fresh Manager with inventory and ordering as needed. Applicants should be at least 18 years old and enjoy teamwork.

Qualifications

• Work experience in a produce department preferred.
• Knowledge of fruit and vegetables preferred, including seasonal items.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance to Members in the produce department and answers questions.
• Inspects, rotates, and stores produce to meet quality standards.
• Rotates produce on the sales floor to maintain freshness and stock displays.
• Maintains the produce reserve stock area and rotates backstock daily.
• Cleans and sanitizes produce equipment and displays.
