Job summary

Golden Corral is seeking energetic individuals for a Food Prep Person role in St. Louis, MO. You will handle the preparation of fresh fruits and vegetables used in our Cold Choice Buffet to ensure freshness and high quality.

The position involves maintaining prep area cleanliness, following recipes, labeling and rotating items, and assisting with buffet maintenance. Training and development opportunities are available as part of a franchise team.

Responsibilities

• Prepares prep items according to Golden Corral product specifications and recipes.
• Maintains a standard inventory of prep items according to guides and updates as directed.
• Ensures optimum yield of products through the product cycle.
• Labels, dates, and rotates all bulk produce and prepped items.
• Ensures all food items are in approved, covered storage containers.
• Completes use and follows the buffet production system to ensure quality and shelf life.
• Notifies the Manager of discrepancies such as spoilage, invoice errors, waste, or non-conforming products.
• Assists the Buffet Attendant in maintaining a full, clean buffet.
