Job summary

Alsum Farms seeks a part-time Merchandiser to stock and rotate produce, set up displays, and maintain backroom stock in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will work in the produce area with a forklift license or willingness to obtain one, and you will collaborate with store teams to ensure accurate shelf presentation and inventory control. Schedule is mornings, with physical duties including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid forklift license (or willingness to get one).
• Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential.
• Strong inventory analysis and judgment abilities are required.
• Ability to learn product codes and merchandising policies quickly.

Responsibilities

• Stock produce and other merchandise.
• Set up merchandise displays and rotate stock.
• Inspect items for damage or defects.
• Ensure correct order fulfillment and backroom stock levels.
• Interact with customers and merchandising teams professionally.
• Operate pallet jack and handle loads up to 50 pounds.
• Adhere to safety and PPE requirements.
