Job summary

NetCost Market is hiring a Produce Associate to stock, rotate and present fresh fruits and vegetables while delivering excellent customer service. You will assist with deliveries, maintain clean displays, and help customers with inquiries to support department goals.

The role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a focus on food safety and accuracy in pricing and signage. Hours may vary, including weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on your feet for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Stock and rotate fresh produce items on shelves, tables, and displays according to company standards.
• Inspect fruits and vegetables for quality and freshness, removing any damaged items.
• Ensure displays are attractive, clean, and organized to reflect abundance and drive sales.
• Label products accurately with correct pricing and signage.
• Receive, unload, and process deliveries promptly and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness of the produce prep area, cases, and sales floor.
