Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a reliable Forklift Operator to move, load, and organize fresh produce in our Texas Mission warehouse. You will operate multiple forklift types, perform safety inspections, and help maintain inventory accuracy in a refrigerated environment.

This role emphasizes adherence to GMPs and HACCP, with emphasis on safe handling, order picking, staging, and sanitation.

Qualifications

• Prior forklift operation experience preferred.
• Ability to work in refrigerated environments.
• Familiarity with GMPs, HACCP, and sanitation procedures.
• Ability to perform daily forklift inspections.
• Maintain accurate inventory and complete documentation.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down/stand-up forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Load/unload produce and inspect shipments for damage.
• Transport pallets to storage, staging, or shipping areas.
• Rotate inventory using FIFO to maintain freshness.
• Stack pallets securely and prevent damage.
• Perform daily forklift inspections and report safety concerns.
• Maintain inventory accuracy via scanning and documentation.
• Assist with order picking, palletizing, and staging orders.
• Keep warehouses clean and hazard-free.
• Follow company policies and OSHA regulations.
• Work in refrigerated environments while staying productive.
