Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator to join our logistics and warehouse team. You will safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse.

You will also assist with order picking, manage inventory, and support shipping/receiving while following OSHA safety standards in a fast-paced environment. Join a team focused on accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating forklift trucks, reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, and other material handling equipment.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanning for logistics.
• Familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures and inventory management practices.
• Understanding of warehouse safety standards including OSHA regulations.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and measurements.
• Strong manual handling skills with emphasis on safe lifting.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and related equipment to load and unload shipments.
• Assist with order picking using barcode scanning systems and ensure accurate selection for shipment.
• Manage inventory by organizing stock and conducting regular counts.
• Support shipping and receiving by verifying incoming/outgoing shipments against documentation.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment.
