Festival Foods in Onalaska, WI is seeking a Produce Clerk to join our team. The role focuses on fresh produce, customer service, and stock management in a fast-paced grocery environment.

This part-time position offers afternoons/evenings/weekends with a commitment to safety and guest satisfaction. You will work with the Produce Department Manager and play a key role in ensuring guests leave with fresh, high-quality items.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability for afternoons, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Engage with Guests: Provide outstanding customer service in-person and via phone to all guests by assisting guests in finding items, taking orders and special requests, and addressing guest concerns.
• Maintain Stock Levels: Ensure all items are well-stocked and displayed according to company standards. Rotate products using FIFO for freshness.
• Ensure Cleanliness & Food Safety: Keep the sales floor and cooler clean, organized, and free of spills or messes; log temperatures and rotation daily.
• Maintain Supplies & Produce Cooler: Ensure produce supplies are stocked; rotate items in the cooler using FIFO; order dips, spices, and herbs as needed.
• Teamwork & Commitments: Perform other duties as needed; maintain regular attendance and provide adequate notice for replacements.
