Hy-Vee is seeking a friendly Produce Clerk to join our Grimes team. You will help keep the produce department stocked, fresh, and inviting, providing excellent customer service and assisting with daily tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have a positive attitude, basic math skills, and the ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures. This is a part-time role in Grimes, IA.

Qualifications

• Six months or less of similar or related work experience; training provided.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.
• Able to perform basic math and operate POS systems.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced produce department.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a smile and provide friendly service.
• Maintain freshness and rotate produce to ensure quality.
• Check in products, stock shelves, and replenish as needed.
• Prepare and finish product displays for customers.
• Follow sanitation procedures and keep the area clean and safe.
• Assist with department upkeep and handling invoices as needed.
