Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate customer service in the Perishable Department.
• Receive deliveries, rotate stock, and place items in appropriate storage.
• Ensure ordering, receiving, preparation, conditioning and displaying comply with policies.
• Keep meat, lunchmeat, dairy, ice cream and other perishable areas well stocked.
• Wrap, label, weigh and stock meat items as needed.
• Clean and sanitize the department and maintain layout standards.
• Follow Food Safety and Workplace Safety guidelines and report accidents as needed.
• Wear the Food Lion uniform with name badge and adhere to dress code.
