Job summary

H-E-B is seeking a Perishable Representative to maintain a well-stocked, well-kept department and deliver outstanding customer service. You will prepare, package, and merchandise fresh products daily while upholding all food safety standards.

Responsibilities include assisting in multiple perishable areas, rotating stock, and engaging customers with product knowledge. Must be able to lift up to heavy weights and work in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service and communication skills are essential.
• Reading and writing skills required.
• HS Diploma or GED (or equivalent) required.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service to customers in person or by phone.
• Prepare, package, and merchandise fresh product daily.
• Maintain department food safety and sanitation standards.
• Assist in various department areas (Aguas, Floral, Market, Produce, Seafood) as needed.
